The HALL Group has provided new details about its $7 billion project in Frisco. The plan is expected to revolutionize the existing HALL Park, transitioning it from a largely business-oriented complex “into a dynamic mixed-use community,” according to the company’s website.

The project’s first phase will include a new luxury residential high-rise, office tower, boutique hotel, executive suites, and eatery. HALL Group said the development will be “centered around a programmed community park.”

Plans also include a performing arts center, a joint initiative between HALL Group, the City of Frisco, and Frisco ISD.

Key appointments for the new project have begun to emerge. Hans Ritten has been named the general manager for the forthcoming HALL Park Hotel, according to Patch. At the same time, Ashley Herrera has been appointed as senior property manager for the high-end residential building, The Monarch, located in HALL Park.

In 2018, Ritten was named the “Hotelier of the Year, Chicago” by the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association. The three-decade industry veteran graduated with hotel and restaurant management and business administration degrees from the Hotel Management School in Heerlen, Netherlands. Ritten has worked at notable establishments, including Loews Philadelphia Hotel and Omni Hotel Chicago.

As general manager for HALL Park Hotel, Ritten will be tasked with managing day-to-day operations and overseeing its retail and restaurant sectors, among other duties.

The planned 224-room hotel is a partnership between the HALL Group and the Autograph Collection, a luxury line of hotels owned by Marriott International. The hotel will house “an outdoor pool, a 4,000 square-foot ballroom, state-of-the-art fitness center, chef-driven restaurant and lounge, and an expansive patio overlooking the upcoming city of Frisco’s Kaleidoscope Park,” according to a press release from the company.

Craig Hall, CEO of HALL Group, says the partnership will deliver “a one-of-a-kind property to the residents and visitors of Frisco that will include a museum-quality art collection and world-class food and wine offerings.”

“We’re excited to have Hans Ritten join the opening team and launch this incredible mixed-use project. Hans has extensive experience and a proven track record of successful hotel openings and developing concepts which will make HALL Park Hotel a unique and memorable experience for guests and locals alike,” said Paul Coury, CEO of Coury Hospitality, a hospitality management company based in Dallas-Fort Worth, per Patch.

The new HALL Park is expected to open as early as the end of 2023.
