RAY LYNN HERVEY

April 7, 1948 ~ July 5, 2021 (age 73)

OBITUARY

Ray Lynn Hervey was born on April 7, 1948, in Lone Oak, Texas to Joe Crear and Dorothy Hervey Crear McNeely.

Ray spent most of his life in the Dallas-Fort Worth area

He proudly served in the Marine Corps. Once he was released from the Marines Ray worked for the Federal Government.

He retired from Allied Electronics in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ray loved to Fish and spend time with his grandkids.

He was a long-term member of Bethesda Community Church where he served in the choirs and was elected four times to the Church Board. Before attending Bethesda, He was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.

Ray passed from this earthly life on July 5, 2021, In Dallas, Texas.

Ray is preceded in beath by his parents Joe Crear and Dorothy Hervey Crear McNeely, Daughter Tonja Hervey Bell, and his Brother Rodney Crear.

He is survived by Wife: Linda Hervey of Fort Worth, Texas. Son: Preston (Melinda) Hervey of Seattle Washington. Grandchildren: Hailey Hervey, Pierce Hervey and Tiyana Hervey of Fort Worth, Texas and Seattle Washington. Brothers: Joe Hervey of Mesquite, Texas and Reginald Crear of Dallas, Texas.

Sisters: Beverly McClinton of Rowlett, Texas and Michele McNeely of Garland, Texas, with a host of Nieces & Nephews.

Ray was loved and will be greatly missed.
