More than 11,000 ice crushers sold nationwide have been recalled after reports of fires and overheating.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall, which affects Vevor-brand products sold online between 2021 and 2025. The recall comes after Saven Technology Ltd. received reports of “thermal events,” including one fire, according to the CPSC notice. No injuries have been reported.

The affected Vevor Ice Crushers were sold on major retail websites, including Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Home Depot, and Lowe’s. Prices ranged from $40 to $86.

Consumers who own the recalled ice crushers should stop using them immediately. The company is offering full refunds to affected customers.

To receive a refund, owners must email a photo of the ice crusher with its power cord cut in half to [email protected]. The CPSC emphasized that consumers should unplug the device before cutting the cord.

The recall affects 11,650 units in various colors sold through July 2025, with the following model numbers and codes:

  • BY-300 in yellow (SBY300FD110V3ZIQ1)
  • BY-300 in red (SBY-300FD110VE784V1)
  • BY-300 in silver (SBY-300FD110VLDK1V1)
  • BY-300FS in blue (SBJBXS220300WRVKAV1)
  • BY-300FS in silver (SBJBXS220300WSNSVV1)
  • BY-300FS in red (SBJBXS220300W1L2RV1)

The model number and codes can be found on the label on the top of the product.

Fire hazards from kitchen appliances remain a persistent safety concern. The CPSC regularly issues recalls for products that pose thermal risks to consumers.
