Former President Donald Trump returned to Butler, Pennsylvania, the city where an assassination attempt occurred during a presidential rally over the summer.
Many questions are still outstanding surrounding the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, and his attempt to assassinate Trump on July 13, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.
Crooks, armed with a rifle, killed fifty-year-old Corey Comperatore, a Trump rally attendee, and seriously injured two other spectators.
Several of Comperatore’s relatives and first responders who were at the rally in July were present on October 5 to show their continued support of Trump, reported Fox 4 KDFW.
“We fought together. We have endured together. We have pushed onward together,” Trump said. “And right here in Pennsylvania, we have bled together. We’ve bled.”

Unanswered questions surrounding the first and even second attempts to take Trump’s life have not deterred the former president from pressing forward.
Another notable joined the Republican presidential nominee in Pennsylvania on October 5 despite attempts on his own life, reported DX.

Musk made his first public appearance at a Trump campaign event since he endorsed Trump, saying to the crowd, “President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America… This is a must-win situation.”
The “must-win” situation looking to be a close race, with Nate Cohn, chief political analyst for The New York Times, stating, “The race remains very close in the key battleground states, with neither candidate leading by more than three percentage points in any of the seven states likeliest to decide the presidency. If the polls were to stay this tight until November, it would be the first election since 2004 when the polls were this close in the pivotal states.”
“To all Americans, whether you are Republican, Democrat, Independent, conservative or liberal, or you have no label whatsoever, it makes no difference, our movement — it belongs to you — it belongs to our country,” said Trump during Saturday’s rally.
Trump added, “We are going to usher in a golden age of American security, prosperity, sovereignty, and freedom for our citizens of every race, religion, color, and creed …We will fight for our country.”
