Several salad dressings distributed across the U.S. have been recalled after plastic material was discovered in an ingredient, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Ventura Foods LLC initiated a voluntary recall after black plastic planting material was found in granulated onion used in the products. The FDA classified the action as a Class II recall, meaning the products could cause temporary or medically reversible health effects, though the risk of serious injury is considered low.
