The FDA announced Mars Wrigley U.S. and Canada issued a voluntary recall of numerous gummy candies on May 14, saying there could be a thin metal strand inside the sweets or loose in the packaging. The company announced that the gummies were distributed in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

The candy company is recalling certain varieties of Skittle Gummies, Starburst Gummies, and Life Saver Gummies in response to customer complaints. Mars Wrigley said in a statement that the metal strands have caused no illnesses or injuries.

Customers can check if their product has been recalled by reading the first three numbers on the back of the package’s 10-digit manufacturing code. Customers can then compare it to the list of recalled products.

“We are working closely with our retail partners to remove any potentially impacted products from stores,” a Mars Wrigley spokesperson told CNN Business.

Mars Wrigley did not specify how many units of candy were affected. The company said a third party manufactured the products.

Those who believe they purchased a recalled product should throw it away and contact Mars Wrigley at 1-800-651-2564 or visit the company’s website with any questions.

See below for a full list of recalled products. All images of the products can be viewed in the announcement here.
