Chick-fil-A has become the latest major company to partner with America250, the official organization planning the United States’ 250th anniversary commemoration set for July 4, 2026.

The partnership was announced on Wednesday, adding to the largest coordinated volunteer effort in U.S. history.

Chick-fil-A, founded in 1946 and known for its chicken sandwiches and community involvement, operates more than 3,000 locations.

The move adds Chick-fil-A to a growing list of corporate sponsors supporting events, education, and service projects leading up to the semiquincentennial. America250 aims to engage all 350 million Americans in the milestone celebration of the nation’s founding.

Chick-fil-A’s involvement focuses on volunteer service through America Gives. The company’s owner-operators and team members will participate in community service initiatives across the country as part of the countdown to the 250th anniversary.

America Gives, the volunteer initiative Chick-fil-A is supporting, challenges businesses, nonprofits, schools, and individuals to log service hours throughout 2026. America250 itself is donating $1 million to support service projects, with participants able to log hours for a chance to direct donations to causes.

Rosie Rios, chair of America250, said in the announcement, “As America marks its 250th anniversary, partnerships like this highlight the organizations that have strengthened communities and defined our nation’s spirit of service.”

Other major sponsors and their contributions include:

  • Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines — providing travel support and themed aircraft liveries to promote the celebrations nationwide.
  • Amazon, Walmart, and Target — supporting logistics, community events, and broad public engagement.
  • The Coca-Cola Company — serving as a signature sponsor with nationwide events and community initiatives.
  • Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Cummins — contributing resources tied to American innovation, manufacturing, and industrial heritage.
  • John Deere, Stellantis (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram), and General Mills — highlighting agriculture, automotive, and food sectors central to American life.

Additional sponsors such as Cisco, Deloitte, Oracle, Palantir, Qualcomm, and JPMorganChase bring technology, consulting, and financial expertise to programming and events.

The U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission and its nonprofit partner, America250 Foundation, Inc., lead the nonpartisan effort established by Congress. Programming includes educational initiatives, parades, cultural events, and service projects in all 50 states.

America250 continues to add sponsors and partners to expand reach and impact.
