Several people were arrested outside a Minnesota hotel where violent agitators believed a Border Patrol commander was staying, including those who have criminal records and promote disruption on social media.
Agitators gathered Monday night at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Maple Grove, thinking Commander Gregory Bovino was there. Video shows rioters damaging property and hurling objects at officers, prompting police to declare an unlawful assembly and issue a dispersal order, per Fox News.
Those who remained were taken into custody after authorities determined that the activity was “no longer considered peaceful.”
