Don’t swap your T-shirts for sweaters just yet. Texas is heating up again.

Get ready for a delightful Wednesday with breezy and warm weather in store. You can expect highs in the low to mid-80s during the day, while the nights will remain cool and crisp with lows in the mid-50s.

As the dry wind continues to blow and the rain remains scarce, it is crucial to be vigilant and aware of the heightened fire risk.

On Thursday, a cold front is expected to move across the region. Despite the front, temperatures will remain consistent in the comfortable mid-80s range with plenty of sunshine. It’s unlikely that there will be any rainfall, providing for a dry and clear day.

Near 90s is the theme for the weekend weather as we can anticipate warmer temperatures returning with a blend of sunshine and clouds, per CBS Texas.

Juan Hernandez, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, told The Dallas Express that moving into the weekend we will have “fairly warm conditions. We have been spoiled with temps in the 70s the last couple of days, but things are warming up. Friday temperatures will be up to 89, Saturday 88, and by Sunday, 90.”

North Texas may experience a chance of thunderstorms as early as next Tuesday due to an approaching cold front. The forecast predicts that the showers could linger for at least three days, possibly longer.

Tuesday has a 30% chance of rain, with a 50% chance on Wednesday and Thursday, decreasing to 40% on Friday and Saturday next week.

This is the last weekend to enjoy the State Fair of Texas, so if you want to say “Howdy” to Big Tex, put on sunscreen and enjoy the Lone Star festivities, going on now through October 22.
