Burger joint Rodeo Goat is opening another location in Texas this year — this time in Addison.

According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, the company is spending an estimated $400,000 to finish out a 6,300-square-foot shell space at 14941 Midway Road. Renovations are scheduled to begin in June, and the project is expected to be delivered by the end of the year.

Rodeo Goat already operates in Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Denton, Plano, Cypress Waters, Harbor, and Houston. It is known for its selection of burgers — including the Chaca Oaxaca, Billy F Gibbons, Nanny Goat, Sugar Burger, H.L. Hunt, Brad Sham, Hot Bastard, Bodacious, and Dad Bod — and craft beer on draft, canned beer, wine, and cocktails.

The company’s Denton location opened last year, The Dallas Morning News reported. It was founded by Keith Schlabs, Shannon Wynne, and Larry Richardson — the same operators behind Flying Fish, Miriam Cocina Latina, Meddlesome Moth, and Flying Saucer Draught Emporium, according to the newspaper.

In a separate project, Dallas-based chicken concept Pollo Campero plans to open a restaurant in Fort Worth by the end of the year.

The location at 9101 North Freeway near Alliance Town Center is a 2,962-square-foot space. In North Texas, Pollo Campero also has restaurants in Dallas, Farmers Branch, Irving, and Richardson.

The menu includes chicken sandwiches, meals, and several side items. Founded in Guatemala in 1971, Pollo Campero operates franchise locations in 19 states.
