Jake Lang, a pardoned January 6 Capitol demonstrator, was arrested Tuesday evening by Frisco police on a criminal trespass warrant and booked into the Collin County Jail.
Lang was taken into custody on an active warrant tied to an incident in April 2025, when he reportedly hopped a fence into David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco to film what he described as dried blood from the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet.
I just broke into Kuykendall Stadium and got the first ever footage of Austin Metcalfs BLOOD STAINED on the stadium floor still 👀

Jury selection is underway for the murder trial of Anthony in Frisco, as reported by The Dallas Express. Anthony faces charges for the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a regional track meet in Frisco in April 2025.
Lang’s arrest occurred one year after he traveled to Frisco in the aftermath of the Metcalf killing and hosted a “Protect White Americans” rally at the stadium amid heightened tensions surrounding the case, which is currently on trial, per WFAA.
Lang gained national attention for his role in the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol events. He was pardoned by President Donald Trump earlier this year.
Frisco police have not released additional details about the timing or exact circumstances of the Tuesday arrest, other than the outstanding warrant. As of Wednesday afternoon, Lang remained in custody at the Collin County Jail.
The development comes days after another controversial event in Frisco, the low-turnout “Rally Against Rednecks” organized by Carrollton mayoral candidate Zul Mohamed, as reported on by The Dallas Express.
