Frisco drivers should plan for delays this week as multiple daytime lane closures continue along the Dallas North Tollway through Saturday, September 6.
The closures affect both northbound and southbound lanes between Gaylord Parkway and PGA Parkway, part of the North Texas Tollway Authority’s widening project aimed at reducing congestion along one of the busiest corridors in North Texas. Work includes sign installation, barrier preparation, and final pavement markings.
Northbound drivers will encounter right lane closures from Gaylord Parkway to PGA Parkway between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Saturday. Southbound travelers face similar restrictions from PGA Parkway to Fields Parkway Tuesday through Friday during the same hours.
Additional closures on Dallas Parkway will impact the northbound-to-southbound U-turn lane at Panther Creek Parkway and left lanes between Warren Parkway and State Highway 121. These restrictions run through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Officials urged drivers to slow down in work zones, noting that traffic fines double when workers are present. Real-time traffic updates and detailed closure maps are available on the NTTA website.
