Vogel Alcove has announced that its Annual Arts Performance Event fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 30, at Gilley’s Dallas. The event will feature an intimate concert with Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black.

The nonprofit’s mission is simple: provide a foundation for children and their parents where they go to bed each night in a place they call home. Through the years, more than 17,000 homeless children have come to Vogel Alcove to find a stable place to heal and learn.

For the parents of these children, Vogel Alcove is a place where they can break the cycle of poverty by getting educated, finding a career that will allow them to make a liveable wage, and transitioning into a home that will build a foundation for them and their children.

The Annual Arts Performance Event helps Vogel Alcove raise a significant amount of its operating budget.

Attendees of this year’s Arts Performance Event will enjoy music from one of the country’s most recognized couples as they dive into a night of more than twenty chart-topping hits. Country singer Clint Black will be accompanied by his wife, Lisa Hartman Black, who is known for her roles in Knots Landing, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, and most recently her and her husband’s appearance on The Masked Singer.

The night will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an open-bar reception, followed by a curated dinner at 7:00 p.m. At 8:00 p.m., Clint and Lisa will hit the stage. Following the concert, guests can stay for the afterparty and dance to hits played by DJ Mix Master Mike.

Donations received during the evening will help cover Vogel Alcove’s operating costs so that the organization can continue its mission to help families move from crises to a stable, healthy future.

Each gift will help fund nutritious farm-to-table USDA certified meals, vegetable and sensory gardens, curriculum development, play therapy with on-site child therapists, an on-site mental health clinic for parents, child and parent resources, summer camp programming, and career and employment counseling.
