2024 is shaping up to be a great year for foodies, with numerous tasty eateries expected to open in Dallas-Fort Worth.

As previously reported by The Dallas Express, eight local eateries recently made the semifinals of the prestigious James Beard Award. Now, the metroplex is about to welcome even more delicious cuisine.

Here is a taste of what residents and visitors can expect to see on the local food scene this year.

Knife Italian

  • When: Opens February 1, 2024
  • Where: 4150 N. MacArthur Blvd in Irving

John Tesar is opening a second restaurant in DFW, an Italian steakhouse combo in Irving.

Located in the old Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, the new restaurant will offer guests fresh focaccia, pizza, pasta, and, of course, steak.

Ribbee’s

  • When: Opens March 2024
  • Where: 923 E. Seminary Dr, Fort Worth

Best friends Johnny White, Lane Milne, and Jalen Heard are teaming up again to bring more BBQ to North Texas. Residents already love Goldee’s Barbeque in Fort Worth. Now, this new eatery will see the threesome focus exclusively on ribs.

Nouveau Noir

  • When: Opens April 2024
  • Where: Village on the Parkway, 5100 Belt Line Rd #704, Dallas

Nouveau Noir will offer Dallas foodies a version of the popular Chicago-themed restaurant Nouveau Bar & Grill from Atlanta. While diners will find many of the same items as the Atlanta counterpart, owner Ebony Austin says patrons should also expect some new dishes.

“With Nouveau Noir, of course, you are going to get many of the items that Nouveau is famous for, but we are adding more tasty menu items, creative drinks and over-the-top events,” Austen said in a statement.
