The Sugar Factory American Brasserie has finally made its long-anticipated arrival in Dallas.

The combination candy store and restaurant franchise has filled the spot previously occupied by Ruth Chris’ steakhouse on Cedar Springs Road.

The new location celebrated its grand opening on November 5 with the help of celebrity Nick Cannon, who is known as the host of The Masked Singer and Wild’ N Out.

Sure to be a hot spot for those with a sweet tooth, the Dallas location features a large capacity dining room decked out with bright, colorful walls, a bar area with bar seating and high-top tables, and a 3D floral ceiling. There is also a private dining area for those looking to book a private party.

The Sugar Factory will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Like all Sugar Factory spots, the new location features a floor-to-ceiling wall of candy goodness. The menu features offerings such as the Flaming Hot Cheetos Burger, the Big Cheesy Angus Burger, Chicken or Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, Salmon with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes, and more.

On to the most important part of the Sugar Factory menu: the sweets! The dessert menu offers “Old Fashioned Milkshakes,” as well as “Insane Milkshakes,” including a Nutella Banana concoction, a Tie Dye milkshake, and a Campfire Spiked S’mores option, among others.

If milkshakes aren’t your thing, how about a Cookie Jar Sundae for two or a King Kong Sundae that serves twelve? Other sweet choices include Strawberry Cheesecake Overload, Oreo-stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae, and New York Cheesecake.

Not to be overlooked is the restaurant’s famous spiked goblet drinks that range from fruity to chocolate concoctions.

To continue the celebration of its grand opening, the Sugar Factory will welcome Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D on November 13 for a night of fun.

Following its Dallas, Texas opening, the Sugar Factory American Brasserie will open two more locations, in Houston and San Antonio, in December 2021.
