The concept of the storage rental business is expanding into a new era as Colorado-based STOW It comes to Dallas/Fort Worth. The storage company works like an Airbnb for vehicle storage, allowing individuals with extra space to rent it out to those needing space to store their vehicles, such as cars, boats, trailers, and RVs. There are even storage locations at airports and for semi-trucks.

Storage locations may be on private property such as garages, barns, or large pieces of land. Commercial facilities may also use extra space to store vehicles in parking garages and lots.

Currently, DFW Airport’s long-term airport parking rents at $111.15 a month for uncovered spaces and $145 a month for covered ones on STOW It.

Hosting with STOW It allows individuals or businesses to make passive income by allowing vehicles to be stored in their facilities and on their properties. STOW It handles all the administrative work by processing payments, guaranteeing the host is paid in full and on time.

The company also takes reservations and addresses customer service needs, freeing hosts to manage their storage. Hosts can list their space on the site and begin making income immediately.

STOW It is different from traditional storage units as it does not require long-term contracts, allowing you to store vehicles for a month or years. Individuals rent from local hosts, and it is more affordable than traditional storage.

A traditional 10 x 15-foot storage space costs an average of $139 per month; with STOW It, a 10 x 20-foot storage area rents for $49 per month, a savings of $90. Potential renters can search by city, address, or zip code to locate available space for rent in their community.

STOW It is changing how people look at their spaces and income.
