The Princess Casino will debut on the Sun Princess, boasting 50% more space and 30% more machines compared to its luxury Royal Class line, according to the company’s press release.
Guests can find the Princess Casino on the eighth deck of the Sun Princess, offering top-notch comfort and entertainment. The casino will showcase live table games and progressive jackpots suitable for all types of players, from beginners to seasoned high rollers, including a high-limit slot area with high-end seating.
Spread across almost 9,000 square feet and boasting 10-foot ceilings, visitors will have plenty of space to experience 227 slot machines and 13 live tables. Moreover, the enlarged casino will introduce a unique “Buffalo Zone” to include Aristocrat’s popular games.
“Casino lovers, high rollers, or simply those wanting to try a hand during their vacation will be stunned by the new Princess Casino onboard Sun Princess,” said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises, per the press release. “Princess has embraced the casino experience and is proud to offer such exciting gaming surrounded by absolutely world-class dining and entertainment.”
The construction of the ship is still ongoing in Italy. Once complete, the Sun Princess, which weighs 175,500 tons, will accommodate 4,300 guests and offer each boarder a variety of entertainment and culinary options, as well as luxurious staterooms with balconies and sun decks.
The Sun Princess is scheduled to set sail in February 2024 to explore European and Caribbean destinations. Inaugural 2024 Sun Princess cruises are on sale now.
