Powerball relinquished some of its funds Wednesday night as one person matched all five white ball numbers with the Power Play option, heading into the New Year with a $2 million prize.

Wednesday’s Powerball winning numbers were 4-11-38-51-68, with Powerball 5 and Power Play 3. At the time of the drawing, the jackpot was estimated at $700 million, according to the Texas Lottery website.

The jackpot is still up for grabs as no winner has claimed the prize since October 11, when a lucky person in California won a cool $1.76 billion, per WFAA.

Despite the jackpot not being won on December 27, a lone winner of the night’s top prize brought in $2 million, with the next award won by a player who did not choose the Power Play option yielding a $1 million win. The game brought in 122,959 Texas winners, with the most individual wins being a $4 payout for 80,060 players.

The Texas retailer who sold the $2 million prize was Timewise Food Store #295, located in Katy. The winning ticket was a quick pick.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for December 30 at 10:12 p.m., with an estimated annuitized jackpot of $750 million and an estimated cash value of $382.5 million.

Individuals can play Powerball by purchasing a $2 per play slip from a Texas Lottery retailer or using the Texas Lottery app. If you struggle to come up with five numbers, ranging from 1 to 69 and a Powerball number from 1 to 26, you can select “Quick Pick,” and the terminal will select the numbers for you. You can add a Power Play feature for an additional $1 per play, increasing your non-grand prize winnings up to 10 times.
