Many are hoping to win the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing of $1.2 billion after there were no winners for Saturday night’s jackpot of $825 million.

The cash value of Monday’s jackpot will be at least $596 million. Jackpot winners have the option of receiving 30 payments over 29 years or a one-time cash payment.

The jackpot is the second highest it has ever been in the history of Powerball and one of the largest lottery jackpots in U.S. history.

Indiana has the highest number of Powerball winners, with 39, followed by Missouri, with 31. Texas has only two people who have ever won the Powerball jackpot.

With the exception of five states that do not participate, only four States have never had a Powerball winner: Maine, Mississippi, North Dakota, and Wyoming. The U.S. Virgin Islands has also never had a winner.

On January 13, 2016, three ticket holders made lottery history when they won a jackpot worth $1.58 billion. The winners were from California, Florida, and Tennessee, and each took home a pre-tax total of $528.8 million.

John and Lisa Robinson of Munford in Tennessee were the first to come forward when they went on the Today show to break the news just days after the drawing was held. David Kaltschmidt and Maureen Smith from Melbourne Beach in Florida came forward the following month. It was not until July that Marvin and Mae Acosta from Chino Hills, California, claimed their share of the prize.

Saturday’s winning numbers were 19-31-40-46-57, with a Powerball of 23 and a Power Play of 3x. Monday’s numbers were 13-19-36-39-59 and 13 for the Powerball.

Powerball is played every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. EST. The game is played in 45 states, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
