Dallas will open the new “Disney Animation: Immersive Experience” this spring.

Lighthouse Immersive is the producer of the Disney show and debuts in Dallas at its Lighthouse ArtSpace Dallas location on April 20. Tickets for the experience go on sale this week, on March 23.

The immersive experience will display the art and music of certain Disney films, including newer ones, such as Encanto, Zootopia, and Frozen, and some older Disney animations, such as The Lion KingPeter Pan, and Pinocchio.

The venue, located at 507 S. Harwood Street, is near the Dallas Farmer’s Market.

Lighthouse ArtSpace also hosts immersive experiences of Van Gogh and Monet.

The founder of Lighthouse Immersive Studios, Corey Ross, said in a statement obtained by The Dallas Morning News, “We’d like to thank Dallas audiences for their incredible enthusiasm towards our previous immersive offerings, including Immersive Van Gogh.”

Disney worked with Cocolab, a Mexico City-based company dedicated to creating “inspirational multimedia experiences,” according to its website.  J. Miles Dale, a Canadian producer known for producing The Shape of Water and The Vow, also helped create the program.

So far, 10 other cities have shown or will show the Disney immersive experience, including Boston, Cleveland, Columbus, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Nashville, San Antonio, and Toronto.

The team dedicates their time to making the experience magical. Light-up bracelets that link to the presentation will move the floor designs with the audience. Lighthouse Immersive will fill the entire space with bubbles at one point.

Ross’s love for Disney films has given him a “nostalgic rush” by seeing the “films come to life,” he said in a statement obtained by the DMN.

Lighthouse Immersive will sell presale tickets on March 21 at $29.99, and regular ticket sales will begin on March 23. You can purchase tickets here.

Parents, I would be cautious with the idea of attending this event. Disney’s approach to “family entertainment” of late has been nothing but an opportunity to throw the Woke agenda policies in your children’s faces through venues like this one. I’d wait for the reviews first before I would buy a ticket.

Deceptive propaganda by Disney. I watched this in the late 1950’s and believed it for decades.

It was actually filmed near Calgary Alberta, Canada at a river. Details are given by James Corbett in this 9 minute video…
