May 4 is commonly known as Star Wars Day, and LEGO will be offering fans a range of new sets and promotions that run till May 7 or so long as supplies last.

The promotional offers are valid both online and at your nearest LEGO store.

Star Wars Day dates back to the election of Margaret Thatcher as Britain’s prime minister on May 4, 1979, per Fox 4.

Her supporters placed an ad in the London Evening News reading, “May the Fourth Be With You, Maggie. Congratulations,” and Star Wars fans have run with it ever since.

The advent of the internet helped Star Wars Day gain further traction. Today fans from all around the world meet up to watch the movies, dress up as their favorite characters, build lightsabers, and partake in other Star Wars-inspired activities.

In honor of Star Wars Day, LEGO has unveiled several new LEGO Star Wars sets that are now available for purchase.

For instance, check out the X-Wing Starfighter, which is the newest 1,949-piece in the Ultimate Collector Series. This version of the T-65 reveals updates to its wings, engine, and cockpit. It is priced at $239.99.

Also available is the Battle of Endor Heroes, which includes five brick-built characters: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2-D2, Lando Calrissian, and Wicket. This set, priced at $39.99, is in honor of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

Other Star Wars-themed sets include Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder, the Emperor’s Throne Room Diorama, and the Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, as well as a variety of other characters, ships, and vehicles from the Star Wars universe.

But that’s not all. LEGO is also offering free gifts with purchases for a limited time.

  • If you spend $40 or more on LEGO Star Wars sets, you get a free miniature LEGO Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter.
  • Spend $85 or more and you can receive a free collectible coin set commemorating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
  • Finally, by spending $150 or more, you can get a free Miniature Death Star II set.

Act fast because these offers are available only until May 7 or when supplies run out.
