Guide to View Neighborhood Displays of Christmas Lights

There is less than a week until Christmas day arrives. Single houses and neighborhoods display Christmas lights, illusions, fake snow, music, and many more holiday favorites throughout the Dallas Fort-Worth area. Here is a guide to free viewing of Christmas lights that the whole family will enjoy.

Dallas: 

On Moss Haven Drive, one block south of Royal Lane, spectators can enjoy the Lake Highlands lights displays. Each house involved in the festivities is a part of “The 12 Days of Christmas.” Tune into 87.7 FM to hear the music while the lights dance.

The Santa House is located at 3629 Southwestern Boulevard. Every night, viewers can glance at the “State Fair’s very first Big Tex,” which was restored to his St. Nick’s original form and wearing a Santa hat on top of the house’s roof.

Fort Worth:

The Karr Family Light Show is located at 5901 Pacers Lane. This light show contains around 50,000 sparkling lights that can be viewed every night from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

The Lights on Trail Creek are located at 4941 Trail Creek Drive and run until January 1st. Tune into 99.9 FM as you drive by Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm, or on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 pm until 10:00 pm.

Plano:

Deerfield neighborhood, located at Preston Road and Coit Road, runs their light displays until December 30th. From 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm on weekdays and 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm on the weekends, viewers can enjoy around seventy-five percent of the houses decorated in the neighborhood. Carriage rides are available in advance, and carolers may be seen spreading joyous holiday music.

Brookshire Drive Holiday Lights is located at 3601 Brookshire Drive and is running until December 25th from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm. They have around 30,000 lights and illuminated characters from Star Wars, Frozen, and The Wizard of Oz.

Frisco:

Burkman Holiday Home is located at 3809 Hazelhurst Drive, and they made an appearance on ABC’s The Great Christmas Family Light Fight. They provide around 70,000 LED lights, a gingerbread house, and a four-hundred-piece train set with a village to view in their garage. Families can view their display every night from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm until December 31st.

Arlington:

Interlochen Lights is on display in the Interlochen neighborhood until December 25th. Tune into 102.1 FM or 98.7 FM to view the lights dancing to the holiday music.

Grapevine:

The DFW Christmas Light Show is located at 4341 Woodglen Drive and can be viewed every night from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm through January 1st. The Araujo family even has a “birthday party” scene in their backyard.

Irving:

The Miracle on West Fork at Alesio Urban Center, located at 387 West Fork, has a light show until December 30th from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm every day where it “snows” in their “winterland.”
