Elton John recently tested positive for COVID-19, according to a report by NBC 5 News. Hence, his two shows in January at the American Airlines Center in Dallas have been postponed.

The postponements were announced in a statement addressing fans.

According to the statement, Elton is “fully vaccinated and boosted, and is experiencing only mild symptoms.” The tour will continue shortly, and the shows will be rescheduled.

The shows, slated for January 25 and January 26, are part of the singer’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. During the performance, Elton John takes his fans on a journey through his career with a compilation of unreleased photos and videos to the tune of Elton’s most popular songs.

The statement encouraged fans to keep their tickets as they will serve as passes into the rescheduled shows. Rescheduled dates have not been announced yet.
