The Dallas Theater Center has a packed schedule for the upcoming season, with a diverse mix of productions ranging from musicals to comedies:

Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors

This 90-minute live production takes a comedic twist on the classic story of Dracula. Join Jean Van Helsing as she hunts the world’s most famous vampire across Europe.

When: October 11 – November 3, 2024

A Christmas Carol

This classic take on Charles Dicken’s legendary tale returns to the Wyly Theatre for a holiday run.

When: November 29 – December 28, 2024

Shane

Playwright Karen Zacarías presents her take on Jack Schaefer’s classic Western novel of the same name. Take a trip back in time to Wyoming in the summer of 1889. It is here that Shane’s story takes place, where he befriends and must help protect the Starrett family.

When: January 31 – February 23, 2025

Primary Trust

Primary Trust follows Kenneth as he struggles to emerge from a life of comfort and consistency after his daily routine is shattered after 15 years.

When: February 27 – March 15, 2025

Waitress

Featuring music and lyrics from Grammy Award winner Sara Bareilles, this musical follows Jenna, a small-town waitress and expert pie-maker who, facing an unexpected pregnancy, fears she may have to forgo her dream of opening her own pie shop. However, a baking contest and the town’s new doctor may just change her fortunes.

When: March 29 – April 27, 2025

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The hit musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice tells the story of Joseph, son of Jacob, his brothers, and his colorful coat.

When: June 13 – July 20, 2025
