Between February 3 and March 9, the Bath House Cultural Center will present the 29th annual El Corazón Exhibition free to the public.

The event kicks off with an artist reception from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. The evening will feature music from local DJ Christy Ray.

The exhibition is a collaboration between Dallas curator and artist Jose Vargas and the Bath House Cultural Center. It features contributions from Texas artists working in a variety of media.

Focused on the universal symbolism of the human heart, each work of art in the exhibition features the heart in some way, reflecting the unique perspectives of the artist.

With 59 contemporary artists participating in the show, El Corazón continues its “tradition of providing a platform for artists to showcase their work and engage with a diverse audience.” Visitors can expect artwork from the likes of Olga Arredondo Brock, Rita Barnard, Ed Barr, Monica Barrera, Grady Aaron Bolls, Kimberly Bradshaw Meadows, Derrick Burnett, Amaris Castillo, and others.

The Bath House Cultural Center is located at 521 E. Lawther Dr. in White Rock Lake. Additional event details can be found on the Bath House Cultural Center website.
