Woman Shot Twice Outside Local Store

A woman was shot twice during an argument at a convenience store in Fort Worth on May 9.

Fort Worth Police were notified of the shooting at 1:22 a.m. after a woman with two gunshot wounds went to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital for treatment.

Investigators learned that the woman was shot at Joe’s Food Mart, located on Miller Avenue. Two people had apparently gotten into a heated argument when one started shooting.

It is unclear if the victim was the second person involved in the argument.

The condition of the victim is unknown.

Officers have not announced any suspects, and no arrests have been made. However, the Fort Worth Police Department urges anyone with information about the shooting to contact the department and reference report number 220035703.
