One Injured in Downtown Dallas Shooting

During an altercation, a man was shot, and a stray bullet from the same incident struck a window on the 27th floor of a Dallas high-rise downtown, Fox 4 News reported.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred at a gas station parking lot near Ross Avenue and Lamar Street around 10 p.m. on May 9.

Officers say an altercation broke out between two men that were part of a group. One of the men pulled out a gun and fired, striking the other man in the leg.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he is believed to be stable. The gunman is still at large.

A gunshot pierced a window on the 27th level of an adjacent high-rise. There were no injuries to anyone within the building.
