Three people were arrested last Friday in connection with a shooting at a fast-food restaurant in Frisco two days earlier.

On August 17, Frisco police responded to reports of gunfire at Wendy’s in the 5500 block of Eldorado Parkway, but the gunman had already fled the scene by the time the officers arrived. No one was injured in the shooting.

The suspect, unhappy with his drive-through order, entered the building and argued with employees about it. After the argument, the suspect retrieved a pistol from his vehicle and opened fire at the front of the building, striking it multiple times and causing minor damage before fleeing.

Frisco police were able to identify the vehicle and the alleged suspect using video surveillance from the scene. They arrested Christian Ellis, 19, of Glenn Heights, on August 19. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

Two other subjects in the vehicle, Tyran McLeod, 19, and Shaquita Glaspie, 33, both of Little Elm, were also arrested. Both were charged with failure to report a felony, a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in prison and a fine of up to $4,000.

Ellis was released on a $100,000 bond, and Mcleod was released after posting a $5,000 bond.

Glaspie was held on a $5,000 bond and booked into the Collin County Jail.
