A Texas fugitive on the state’s most-wanted sex offender list was captured in Marble Falls last weekend after a tip led police to his location.
Victor Manuel Ramos Jr., 19, was taken into custody on June 21 at a local business by the Marble Falls Police Department. DPS Criminal Investigations Division special agents assisted in the arrest, which followed up on a tipster’s information.
Ramos had been featured as the June sex offender fugitive. He was convicted in April 2025 in Burnet County of sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child by sexual contact. He received 10 years of probation but was wanted since August 15, 2025, out of Llano County for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. A warrant was also issued on August 21, 2025, out of Burnet County for a probation violation.
An increased Texas Crime Stoppers reward will be paid for the arrest. So far in 2026, authorities have arrested 44 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Sex Offenders and Criminal Illegal Immigrants, including 32 sex offenders and eight gang members, with $61,500 in rewards paid.
Funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, Texas Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests. Eligible tipsters must call 1-800-252-TIPS, submit a web tip through the DPS site, or use the Facebook tip link. All tips remain anonymous and receive a tip number instead of a name.
DPS investigators select fugitives for the lists in coordination with local agencies. The current lists of 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Sex Offenders, and Criminal Illegal Aliens can be found on the Texas DPS website.
