A Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitive and documented Bloods gang member was taken into custody in Austin after a brief vehicle pursuit, the Texas Department of Public Safety announced.
Devonshae Aikeis Fisher, 32, was arrested on May 21 near the MoPac Expressway and 45th Street following a traffic stop attempt by Austin Police Department officers and Texas Highway Patrol troopers. Fisher refused to stop, leading to the chase. Members of the FBI Safe Streets Taskforce, including a Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division special agent and a Williamson County sheriff’s deputy, assisted.
No reward will be paid for the arrest. Fisher had been wanted since July 2024 for a parole violation tied to a prior conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Additional warrants were issued in March 2025 out of McClain County, Oklahoma, charging him with bail jumping and failure to appear in connection with the acquisition of proceeds from drug activity.
Fisher’s earlier record includes a 2012 federal conviction for possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, resulting in a 30-month prison term, and a 2021 Bexar County conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, which brought a five-year sentence. He was released on parole in April 2023.
Funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, Texas Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for tips leading to arrests of fugitives on the Texas 10 Most Wanted lists. So far in 2026, authorities have arrested 36 such individuals, including 27 sex offenders and five gang members, with $50,500 paid in rewards.
Tipsters must call 1-800-252-TIPS, submit a web tip via the DPS site, or use the Facebook tip link to qualify for rewards. All tips remain anonymous, and callers receive a tip number rather than providing a name. DPS works with local agencies to compile the lists, which are posted on the department website.
