Tarrant County Manhunt Underway – 35-Year-Old Female Murder Fugitive Ditches Ankle Monitor

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a woman wanted for murder after she recently removed her court-ordered ankle monitor and began actively evading law enforcement.

Lisa Monique Mitchell, 35, is described as 5-foot-9 and 230 pounds and has brown hair. She was last seen in the Fort Worth area, but authorities noted that she has the means and connections to flee.

She is wanted in a case out of North Richland Hills. Officials said she should not be approached. Anyone who sees her or knows her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately or contact Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. The sheriff’s office did not release any additional details about the murder charge.
