A Tarrant County juvenile probation officer was arrested Monday on charges of having a sexual relationship with a juvenile formerly in her custody.
Alexandria Venable, 34, faces accusations of improper sexual relations with a child under 17 years of age, according to court documents, Fox 4 KDFW reported.
An arrest affidavit reveals that Venable engaged in sexual conversations over the phone with the juvenile. She also had sexual contact with the minor on multiple occasions, investigators said.
The alleged incidents occurred at the Tarrant County Juvenile Probation Center, where Venable worked as a probation officer. She is no longer employed at the facility.
Venable turned herself in on Monday after authorities issued an arrest warrant. The identity of the juvenile victim has not been released.
The investigation remains ongoing. Tarrant County officials have not commented on whether additional victims may come forward.
