At that time, Fort Worth police said an unknown number of suspects drove by the home and opened fire on the victims in the front yard, and then drove away.

An investigation by Fort Worth Police Department homicide detectives led to the arrests, which took place over Labor Day weekend, according to a press release on the FWPD’s Facebook page.

The detectives were assisted in the capture of the two suspects by FWPD patrol officers, the FWPD Fugitive Unit, and the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.

Both suspects have been charged with capital murder, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
