Dallas Police announced the discovery of a second body floating in White Rock Lake just two weeks after another body was found there.

A male body was discovered on April 7 close to the Dallas Arboretum, near Garland Road and East Lawther Drive. He was pulled from the water by Dallas Fire-Rescue around 11 a.m.

The man appeared to be in his late 50s, suffered stab wounds to his upper torso, and was also beaten in the face.

On March 25, officers found another male victim in White Rock Lake after receiving a 911 call regarding a body face down in the water near the spillway.

Law enforcement agencies have yet to release any details about either death. Investigations are ongoing.
