Plano Police are continuing an investigation into the alleged abuse of students by a tutor.

Jerry Tsai, 68, has been accused of improper touching by three of his students.

An investigation into his actions began after a mother reported to the Plano Police Department that Tsai had assaulted her daughter on March 10. Further inquiry prompted officers to interview two additional students who came forward with allegations of abuse by the tutor.

Following a warrant issued for Tsai’s arrest, he was taken into custody on March 31 and held at Collin County Jail. He has been charged with three counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact.

Collin County Jail records show Tsai has since posted a $150,000 bond.

Anyone with information regarding this individual or a similar incident is asked to contact the Plano Police Department at 972-941-2148.
