Dallas police are looking for suspects who stole an ATM machine out of a 7-Eleven store early Tuesday morning.

Police say the thieves busted through a window and pulled an ATM through the building with a pickup truck as they fired guns at the clerk.

The incident occurred on the 4200 block of Lemmon Avenue between Douglas Avenue and Knight Street at around 4. a.m., according to law enforcement officials.

The thieves left the scene in a different vehicle, leaving the ATM in pieces in the parking lot.

The clerk did not have any reported injuries.

It remains unclear how much cash was in the ATM or how much the thieves got away with.

Police attempted to search for the suspects using a helicopter, but no arrests have thus far been made.

The Dallas Express reached out to the Dallas Police Department for comment but did not receive a reply at the time of publication.
