One Dead, Two Seriously Injured in Old East Dallas Shooting

On Sunday, a shooting in Old East Dallas left one man dead and two other persons seriously injured.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on May 22, while the three individuals were in a car at the 3200 block of Jerome Street, near Interstate 30 and Dolphin Road.

According to officers, someone in another vehicle opened fire at the victims before speeding away.

Devante Ivory, 27, was discovered lying on a sidewalk, suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by authorities.

Another man and a woman were transported to a hospital in critical condition.

There was no additional information on the incident’s circumstances or probable suspects.

No arrests have been made at this time.
