A naked man was arrested for burglary in a Dallas neighborhood on Saturday.

The homeowners came home to find the nude individual inside their home, according to a police statement given to The Dallas Express.

Police responded to the incident, which occurred on the 6400 block of Lange Circle.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the man had gotten onto the roof of the home. The man then got off the roof and crossed over a creek that was behind the house, police said in their statement to The Dallas Express.

Additional law enforcement officers were called to the scene. They eventually found the naked man hiding in a tree directly across from the home he entered.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the suspect to an area hospital for a medical evaluation. He was not reported to have any injuries.

When asked for further details, Dallas police told The Dallas Express they could not provide any more information regarding the medical evaluation due to HIPPA laws.

The suspect was determined by police as 44-year-old Shawn Conner. He was subsequently taken to Dallas County jail and charged with burglary, criminal trespass of a habitation, and criminal mischief.

The investigation is ongoing.
