A Mansfield woman pleaded guilty to producing sexually explicit videos of a 9-year-old child and faces up to 120 years in federal prison, prosecutors announced on Friday.

Marisa Witkop, 31, pled guilty to four counts of sexual exploitation of a child in a case that underscores ongoing efforts to combat child predators who create and distribute illegal material online.

Federal prosecutors said Witkop produced four videos involving the child. She distributed some material through a social media application, according to court documents.

Each count carries a mandatory minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in federal prison, for a total of up to 120 years.

A federal grand jury indicted Witkop in October 2025. United States Attorney Ryan Raybould for the Northern District of Texas confirmed the guilty plea this week.

Senior U.S. District Judge Terry R. Means will sentence Witkop on June 9 in Fort Worth.

The U.S. Secret Service and the Mansfield Police Department conducted the joint investigation. The case falls under Project Safe Childhood, a Justice Department initiative launched in 2006 to coordinate resources against child sexual exploitation.

Federal officials encourage the public to visit justice.gov/psc for internet safety resources and information about identifying victims.
