Man Fatally Shot in South Dallas, Discovered Lying in Street

According to authorities, a man was fatally shot Tuesday morning in South Dallas.

After receiving a shooting call, Dallas Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Peabody Avenue between Interstate 45 and Cedar Crest Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. on March 29.

Officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the middle of the street. Dallas Fire-Rescue also arrived at the scene and tried to resuscitate the unidentified victim, but he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities are investigating the shooting to discover the motive. No suspects have been arrested at this time.
