DPD Seeking Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run

After a fatal hit-and-run early Sunday morning, the Dallas Police Department is looking for the culprit.

At 5:09 a.m. on August 21, officers received a call reporting a pedestrian had been struck and killed by a vehicle, according to police.

A man had been running eastbound in the 6900 block of Lake June Road and was hit by a truck near the CF Hawn Freeway.

The driver fled the scene.

The victim, whose identity is unconfirmed, died at the scene. Police stated that he was 25-35 years old.

A picture of the suspect vehicle was tweeted by Dallas police.
