An officer of the Dallas Police Department was arrested in McKinney on suspicion of driving while impaired.

Officers from McKinney Police Department arrested Dallas PD Senior Corporal Daniel Jamieson, 39, on May 30, according to CBS 11 News. Full details about his arrest have not been made public.

It is not clear if Jamieson had an attorney. However, the 39-year-old was detained at the Collin County Detention Facility on a DWI charge, with no information about his bail. The offense is a Class B misdemeanor.

Dallas police said Jamieson has been with the department since February 2008, and it assigned him to the Tactical Operations Division prior to his arrest.

The department has placed Jamieson on administrative leave while it conducts an Internal Affairs investigation into his arrest.
