A 67-year-old man was charged with murder this week after allegedly fatally stabbing another man in the chest Sunday in downtown Dallas.

Police responded to a call reporting a stabbing in the 200 block of South Field Street at approximately 4:23 p.m. on August 7.

Dallas police allegedly determined 67-year-old Malik Abdul Rahman to be the primary suspect after a preliminary investigation. However, the investigation by the DPD is ongoing.

The unidentified adult male victim suffered stabbed wounds to the chest and died at a local hospital, DPD said.
