10-Year-Old Girl Shot In San Antonio Road Rage; Gunman At Large

A 10-year-old girl is fighting for her life after being shot during a road-rage incident in San Antonio on Friday morning.

The child was struck when a driver opened fire after being honked at, police reported.

The shooting occurred around 7:25 a.m. near Timberhill Drive and Wurzbach Road. A woman driving south on Timberhill honked when another car backed out in front of her.

The driver of the backing vehicle responded by opening fire. The 10-year-old girl, seated in the back of the woman’s car, was hit by the gunfire.

She was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her current condition remains unknown.

The gunman fled the scene and remains at large. Police have launched an investigation but made no arrests.
