A TikTok video posted by the daughter of Democrat Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins shows her “training” a dog to defecate in the yards of Republican political opponents.

Jenkins’ teenage daughter, Madeleine Jenkins, shared the video on an account called “maddiethebaddiej” which has a profile picture of her and her father and says, “ur [sic] probably here for my dad.”

Captioned “me after training my dog to poop in republican’s yards,” the video begins with Jenkins’ daughter lip-syncing the lyrics, “It’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me,” from the Taylor Swift song “Anti-Hero.”

The video then shows the dog defecating on a lawn with signs for Faith Johnson, who ran for district attorney, and Lauren Davis, who challenged Jenkins for county judge in 2022.

Jenkins’ daughter engaged in political activities during that election cycle as well, participating in a Dallas Democrats video with her father. Her TikTok account includes numerous videos featuring her father, including some encouraging viewers to support his political career.

Screen captures from the 2022 video were recently posted by Twitter user @TexasTrow in response to a tweet from Jenkins that suggested Republicans’ trust in science had decreased.

“You can definitely see the effect of people taking cues from there [sic] political leaders,” Jenkins claimed. “Divergence on something as basic as this is dangerous. Cancer and Alzheimer’s don’t care about your politics.”

During the COVID-19 outbreak, Jenkins used the power of his office to send Dallas County into lockdown, forcing businesses to close and forbidding people from assembling freely.

Jenkins’ daughter had also been a part of early initiatives to convince people to give their children the COVID-19 vaccine, becoming one of the first to receive it, reported KERA News at the time.

As county judge, Jenkins has been a controversial figure in Dallas politics.

During the 2022 election, documents provided to The Dallas Express showed that Jenkins had been arrested while in college for allegedly breaking into women’s dorm rooms while wearing blackface. He later admitted to darkening his face but denied that it was racially motivated.

Additionally, lawsuits related to the estate of personal injury attorney Brian Loncar revealed that Jenkins may have illegally sent more than $450,000 in attorney referral fees to a shell company, as reported by The Dallas Express.

The Dallas Express reached out to Jenkins for comment on his daughter’s political engagement and related social media controversy but received no response by the publication deadline.
