According to NBC 5 News, a person who was familiar with the victims became a person of interest early in the investigation.

Police identified that person of interest as Jesse Lyn Williams, who they began surveilling the night of the shooting.

Officers added that they attempted a traffic stop on Williams when he left his home that same night.

However, Williams led Fort Worth police on a short vehicle and foot pursuit after refusing to pull over.

He was taken into custody on Monday night.

Williams is now being held on alleged capital murder charges and his bond was set at $2 million.

Investigators did not reveal how Williams became a suspect, nor have motives or other details been disclosed. The investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are confident that the incident is an isolated case and poses no threats to the public.
