Shooting at Residence Leaves Two Teen Brothers Dead

Brothers Anthony Aponte, 17, and Isaiah Manuel Aponte, 19, have been confirmed murdered by North Richland Hills Police Department following a January 24 shooting incident at a home where both teenagers resided.

According to The Dallas Morning News, North Richland Hills police officers were dispatched to the home located within the 5100 block of Gibbons Drive following a 6 a.m. notification call.

Anthony was pronounced dead on-site while Isaiah was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Police revealed that officers are still canvassing the area, with detectives also following several leads.

However, North Richland Hills police said that the investigation has led them to believe that there is no threat to the public.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact the North Richland Hills Police Department with reference to case number 22N03893.
