As previously reported by the Dallas Express, Dallas police arrested a suspect on Wednesday, Sept. 29. After leading police on a high-speed chase, crashing his vehicle into another car on Interstate 20, abandoning his car and fleeing on foot, Dallas PD caught and arrested him.

In footage released by Fox 4, the suspect could be seen driving at a speed of up to 100 miles per hour at one point. The suspect’s vehicle clipped another vehicle on eastbound Interstate 20 service road near South Lancaster, thus bringing the chase to an end.

The Dallas Police Department released the name of the suspect, 19-year-old Jamail Martin. Martin is wanted for the murder of a woman at an apartment complex on Ganon Lane. The murder occurred earlier last month.

Gurienderpal Ghag, the driver who Martin crashed into during the high-speed pursuit, suffered minor injuries from the accident and is in stable condition.

Ghag said that he had just left work and had not traveled forty feet when the accident occurred.

“I see a car in my rear-view coming full speed hit me so fast all I had time to do was look at it and then get hit,” Ghag said.
