Police in Lewisville have called off the search for a missing 10-year-old boy, Simon Lian, who had been reported missing, according to CBS 11 News.
According to CBS 11 News, Simon Lian was last seen playing in the backyard of a relative’s house in the 700 block of Dewberry Drive on January 18.
The Lewisville Police Department sent out a Tweet on Wednesday morning announcing that the 10-year-old boy had been found safe and sound.
“Simon has been FOUND SAFE at his school. The search has been called off. Thank you for sharing and helping us spread the word,” Lewisville Police Department wrote in the tweet.
According to CBS 11 News, authorities initially thought Simon left the relatives home through a side gate. Police did not say how he got to his school.
Lewisville Police Department did not release any further information on how 10-year-old Simon Lian was found.
