Forest Hill Police found one man dead and another injured after responding to a shooting call on January 27.
Officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Chalmette Court in Forest Hill around 2:31 p.m.
One man was found lying on the ground from a gunshot wound at the scene.
The other suffered from a gunshot as well.
Both men were transported to a hospital. One of the victims later died, and the second man is complying with police.
An investigation is ongoing, but police do not believe there is a threat to the community.
